The successful candidate will play a vital role in executing method transfers for raw materials, conducting essential testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intermediate-level analytical chemistry tasks, focusing on chromatographic methods and instrumentation.
  • Independently manage protocol verifications and method transfers while providing guidance to junior scientists.
  • Perform routine testing using various instrumental methods, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and ICP-MS, to achieve departmental goals.
  • Maintain compliance with USP standards and document all work accurately in accordance with good documentation practices.
  • Provide technical support for method validation and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
  • Assist in training laboratory personnel on GMP and safety protocols.
  • Review data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related physical science.
  • One to four years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with knowledge of CGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatographic methods and related data systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience in method development and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and product lines.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated hourly wage for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.67, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan, allowing employees to select coverage that best fits their needs.
