Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging
- Monitor and adjust technical factors to optimize image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school or program of Radiologic Technology
- 1-2 years of MRI scanning experience
- Registered ARRT (R)(MRI) or Registered ARMRIT certification
- CPR certification
The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to magnetic fields and other medical equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
