Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and extracting carpets in various areas of the college, including lobbies, entrances, offices, and classrooms.
  • Operate and maintain floor machines, ensuring proper use and care.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any floor maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards and quality expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency.
  • 2-3 years of experience in floor maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass a physical examination and background check.
