Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to repair various vehicles and transmission systems.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a mechanic, knowledge of shop equipment, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
  • Specialize in vehicle transmission systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a mechanic, preferably with specialization in diesel engines
  • Knowledge of shop equipment, including lifts, jacks, and diagnostic tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with ability to analyze complex problems
  • Deadline-oriented and detail-focused, with ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
