What You Will Do:
  • Foster a culture of high expectations that includes the shared belief that every student will pursue higher education.
  • Design and implement lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with California State Standards and Aspire Instructional Guidelines.
  • Regularly assess students and adjust classroom instruction based on assessment data and individual student needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and families, involving them as partners in their child's education.
  • Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs and enhance instructional practices throughout the school.
  • Actively engage in professional development activities and work closely with lead teachers, principals, and instructional coaches.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • California teaching authorization in a math-related subject area is required.
  • 1+ year of experience working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter, including State Standards and subject-specific frameworks.
  • Understanding of child cognitive development and various learning styles.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative student data.
  • Willingness to reflect on and improve instructional practices.
Compensation: Aspire Public Schools is committed to the well-being of our team members. In addition to a competitive base salary that is benchmarked against local districts and charter schools, we offer exceptional benefits, including paid time off, comprehensive health benefits coverage on select plans, life insurance/long-term disability, participation in a California state retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.

Our salary schedule for this position type is $66,593- $126,836. *Bonuses are available and are paid out in two installments.
