Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to customer quality requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Assist inspectors in making decisions on product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective quality control systems and processes.
  • Ensure that all reportable Service Difficulty Reports and Irregularities are completed and forwarded to Quality Assurance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Quality Control Inspectors and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Act as a liaison between Quality Control Inspectors and Managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators to ensure that the quality control process is effective and efficient.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge and understanding of quality control principles.
  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
  • Possesses an Airframe and Power Plant certification and familiarity with FAA Regulations.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aviation quality control or a related field.
