We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established practice in Scarborough, Maine. This 100% outpatient position offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, chorea, tremor, and dystonia.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist movement disorder neurologists in initial evaluations and management of patients
- Conduct daily responses to patient phone calls and MyChart messages
- Review lab and imaging results, and communicate with patients
- Collaborate with subspecialty attendings to provide comprehensive care
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Two years of experience preferred, but not required
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS certification
