Customer Service Representative

We are Athene, a leading retirement services company driven to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive timely and accurate information, enhancing their overall service experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming inquiries from producers and internal partners, providing accurate information on licensing and contracting processes.
  • Educate agents on commission payment processes, including commission calculations, schedules, and statement information.
  • Complete financial transactions for commission payouts, payout method changes, and auditing commissions.
  • Formulate communications with customers through various channels and adequately document correspondence in systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Intermediate to advanced level ability to navigate through computer systems with minimal assistance required
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience in the Licensing and Contracting or Compensation areas within the Life Insurance or Annuity Industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of insurance products and processes, particularly around Licensing, Contracting, or Commissions, preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding and working experience with regulations regarding insurance contracts preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex questions, interpret requests, and ask probing questions for root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use verbal or written methods to explain intermediate to complex concepts and processes to a diverse customer base
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work in a time-intensive customer service work environment
