About the Position

Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel is seeking a skilled Table Games Dealer to provide exceptional guest service to patrons while dealing with various table games. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be part of a dynamic casino environment.

Salary and Benefits

The starting wage for this position is $16.76 per hour, plus tips. Hourly wage increases are based on your ability to deal with multiple table games. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.

Job Description

As a Table Games Dealer, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to the table, handling buy-ins and payoff transactions, and dealing with assigned table games while adhering to established department policies and procedures. You will effectively communicate with managers and staff, verify fills, credits, and chip amounts issued, and notify floor supervisors of any game irregularities regarding transactions or customer play.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have prior casino dealing experience and be able to deal with at least two of the three major table games: Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps. You must also have good math skills and the ability to follow instructions and implement tasks given. Additionally, you must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours and tolerate a smoke-filled environment.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
