Extra Board Deli Attendant

The Extra Board (on-call) Deli Attendant is responsible for providing superior guest service to casino guests while performing duties at the deli counter. Duties include serving hot and cold beverages, preparing and serving food, handling inventory, stocking counters, and displaying coolers, sandwich bars, and steam tables neatly and according to holding requirements. Keeps all display equipment neat, clean, and free of debris during business hours while maintaining the cleanliness of the deli area as needed. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.

The starting wage is $17.02/hr increasing to $17.61/hr at successful completion of the 90-day orientation period.

Education:

• A high School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience & Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of counter experience is required
• Previous food handling is required
• Must be able to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Must have a valid Washington State food handler’s card 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• Must be able to bend, reach, and squat
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays

Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
