Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor, Nursing to join our team at Saint Mary's University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and evaluating nursing students in a clinical, skills lab, or didactic course setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and evaluate nursing students in a clinical, skills lab, or didactic course setting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of nursing students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Valid nursing license in Minnesota (and Wisconsin if applicable)
  • 3 years of relevant experience in nursing
  • Experience in nursing education and/or precepting
  • Excellent written and/or oral communication skills
  • Excellent management/supervisory skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Nursing
  • Knowledge of CANVAS and ATI learning systems
