Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant Lead at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in managing clinical support staff to provide exceptional patient care. Under the direct supervision of a physician, you will perform a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Your primary goal will be to work proactively and in partnership with other staff to contribute to effective operations and deliver service in conjunction with the Hospital's customer service standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares examination/treatment rooms for examinations of patients by properly positioning instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Interviews patients to obtain reasons for visit, including nature of complaint, physical problems, symptoms of illness, etc.
Prepares patients for examination by performing various routine physical assessments, such as vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, etc.
Prepares and assists healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant curriculum or equivalent.
American Heart Association CPR Certification.
3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
