Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kettle Driver to join our team at The Salvation Army Northwest Division. As a Kettle Driver, you will be responsible for delivering kettle stands to locations prior to the start of the bell ringing season, driving bell ringers to and from their scheduled locations daily, and performing other seasonal duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver kettle stands to locations prior to the start of the bell ringing season
  • Drive bell ringers to and from their scheduled locations daily
  • Perform other seasonal duties as assigned by Corps Officers
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Handle confidential information appropriately
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with employees, clients, staff, agency representatives, community members, and others
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and pass a MVR check
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass The Salvation Army in-house online driver training
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
  • Ability to grasp, push and pull objects and reach overhead
  • Ability to understand, use and respond to written information
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Work Schedule / Location

Dependent on the corps needs and assigned by Corps Officers. Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
