Job Title: Kettle Driver

Are you looking for a seasonal opportunity to make a difference in your community? The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Driver to join our team

Job Summary:

The Kettle Driver will be responsible for delivering kettle stands to locations prior to the start of the bell ringing, driving bell ringers to and from their scheduled locations daily, and performing other seasonal duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver kettle stands to locations prior to the start of the bell ringing.
  • Drive bell ringers to and from their scheduled locations daily.
  • Perform other seasonal duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and pass a MVR check.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Pass The Salvation Army in-house online driver training.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately as required by The Salvation Army and applicable federal and state laws.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with employees, clients, staff, agency representatives, community members, and others.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in outside inclement weather, and there may be some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomfort with noise, rain, snow, dust, dirt, and similar.

The Salvation Army reserves the right to reassign, review the job, or require that different or additional tasks be performed based on the organization's needs or when circumstances change.

Work Schedule / Location: Dependent on the corps needs and assigned by Corps Officers.
