Job Title: Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Necco. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our clients, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nursing admission assessments and provide post-safe crisis management assessments within applicable timelines.
  • Assess client needs and refer to appropriate providers as necessary.
  • Coordinate basic and emergency treatment for clients with outside medical facilities.
  • Administer client medication and provide ongoing monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of incidents to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Necco policy.
  • Complete mental health nursing documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Serve as a resource to non-nursing employees for client medical issues.
  • Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings as directed.
  • Complete therapeutic behavior support/rehabilitation services as directed by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Current and Active License as Licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio (LPN only).
  • 1+ year experience as Licensed RN or LPN in a healthcare setting.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage.
  • Willingness to be on an on-call rotation.
  • Ability to provide nursing services in an indoor and outdoor setting.
  • Training and travel willingness.
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
  • Ability to navigate and execute software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard).
