Sleep Medicine Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sleep Medicine Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens.
- Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
Requirements:
- Masters of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies.
- An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
- Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products.
- At least 2 years of experience in either Sleep Medicine or Pulmonology.
