About the Position

This is a part-time position within the Department of the Air Force, assigned to the Resource Management Flight on Ellsworth AFB. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing various financial management tasks, including collecting deposits, making change for customers, and processing bank deposits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collects deposits daily from activities as a courier and makes change for customers.
  • Processes bank deposits to the local bank.
  • Performs double-entry accrual accounting work to maintain a combination of journals and ledgers.
  • Examines, verifies, and analyzes various documents to determine their mathematical correctness, validity, and clerical accuracy.
  • Prepares reports monthly, quarterly, and annually, reflecting the financial condition of activities services by the accounting unit.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have experience in work that provided a knowledge of double-entry accounting procedures and techniques, as well as the ability to analyze the interrelationship of accounts affected by varied transactions.
