About the Role

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and skilled Elementary Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for implementing daily instructional plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and establishing effective relationships with students, colleagues, and administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with district curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom climate that fosters student growth and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to ensure student success
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Response to Intervention programs as needed
  • Supervise students, paraprofessionals, and volunteers in the classroom
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Elementary Education or related field
  • Teacher license/certification, as applicable by state or contract/district
  • One year of experience as a school teacher, preferred
  • Ability to read and implement instructional plans, correspond with parents and administration, and effectively present information
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
