Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy and evaluating its effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy according to established standards of care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory therapy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved school of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Respiratory Therapist in the State of South Dakota.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 6 months of hire date.
Work Schedule
  • Varied day/night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
  • 72 hours every 2 weeks.
Compensation
  • $39.50 per hour.
