Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy according to established standards of care and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; currently enrolled in an A.M.A.-approved school of Respiratory Therapy preferred.
  • Temporary Respiratory Therapist License or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) certification for the state of South Dakota required.
