We are seeking a Lab Services Specialist (Phlebotomist) to contribute to our mission. In this position, you will be instrumental in the care journey of our patients by executing venipuncture and providing various clinical support services. Collaborating closely with our healthcare providers and administrative staff, you will ensure the collection and processing of specimens meet our high standards while offering a personalized experience to each patient. A strong team player with exceptional communication abilities and a commitment to human-centered care is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct venipuncture services for a varied patient demographic
- Assist in the collection of non-blood specimens, EKGs/ECGs, vital signs, and other clinical tasks
- Uphold rigorous standards in specimen handling and processing
- Support healthcare providers with administrative duties and patient follow-ups
- Utilize technology tools for efficient communication and workflow management
- Current Medical Assistant certification
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in technology
- Experience in diverse, collaborative environments
- Ability to deliver personalized care with confidence and empathy
