Position Overview:
As a Security Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and integrity of our facilities.

Amentum will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills necessary to meticulously observe and monitor your environment and the activities of personnel within sensitive locations.

This role is an excellent opportunity for those interested in government contracting, security operations, team leadership, and surveillance, particularly for actively cleared Department of Defense service members transitioning to civilian roles or seeking part-time opportunities while continuing their service.

Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.

Key Qualifications:
  • Possession of a
    current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph; US Citizenship is necessary to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours daily.
  • Visual acuity to observe activities from a moderate distance.
  • This position necessitates visual monitoring of personnel within customer facilities.
  • Successful completion of DCJS training within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate incidents through verbal briefings and written reports.
  • Reliable transportation to locations not accessible via public transport.
  • Availability for 8-12 hour shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
