Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a Food Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks on the tractor-trailer and trailer to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Inspect the trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and secured with freight.
  • Count and verify the products loaded on the trailer and check customer invoices for accuracy.
  • Complete all required paperwork associated with freight, including delivery receipts and invoices.
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Collect payment from customers where required.
  • Load customer returns onto the trailer and secure the trailer doors.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card.
  • Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in the foodservice distribution industry.
  • 1+ years of CMV driving experience.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience.
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience.
  • Customer service-related work experience.
