Overview

Atria Senior Living is seeking an Evening Maintenance Attendant to join our team. As a valued member, you will work in a supportive environment that provides advancement opportunities and promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

The Evening Maintenance Attendant will be responsible for performing common area cleaning daily in accordance with Company standards and also performs room turns (getting a room ready for a new resident). Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing cleaning services for business offices, apartments, interior and exterior public and common areas, and amenities of the community in a safe, neat, clean, and attractive condition.
  • Providing floor care services for carpet, vinyl, tile, and wood floors, including vacuuming, extracting, etc.
  • Assisting in maintaining community areas, including sidewalks, public walkways and stairways, and building exteriors. Ensuring garden areas are neat, clean, and in attractive condition at all times.
  • Compacting and removing trash and debris from community areas.
  • Helping get community unit inventory ready for new residents. Standard unit turn tasks include, but are not limited to, changing plumbing fixtures, replacing switches, light fixtures, or door knobs, and painting walls.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Must be able to work various schedules and shifts as needed, and safely use basic maintenance and landscape-related hand tools and light power tools. The Evening Maintenance Attendant will also be required to work with caustic materials and cleaning equipment to fulfill their job responsibilities. They must be able to understand English well enough to read and comply with safety instructions for the proper use of such materials and machinery to protect themselves and others (employees, residents, and guests) from injury.

Atria Senior Living offers a competitive benefits package, including paid holidays and PTO, community employees may receive annual anniversary rewards dependent on classification, and employees may be eligible to receive an Annual Scores Reward of $500 (Full Time) or $250 (Part Time) based on community survey results. Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $18.00/hr - $20.70/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience.
