We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Pain Management Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient and outpatient services to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with the pain management team and perioperative team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice, and provide care within ethical and legal boundaries.
- Prepare and administer medications, and perform procedures such as interventional pain procedures, bladder catheterizations, and EKGs.
- Complete orientation and competency verification program, and maintain currency of certifications.
- Provide individualized patient teaching on preventative healthcare and health maintenance.
- Adhere to infection control procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited community college or vocational nursing program.
- One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation, with a minimum of 6 months of experience within the last year.
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted Registered Nursing license to practice nursing in a State, District of Columbia, or territory of the United States.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support, and certification to place IV catheters.
