Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist to join our team. This role involves diagnosing and treating communication disorders, including speech and language issues, as well as swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and auditory rehabilitation.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with physicians and licensed practitioners to assess patients' communication abilities and develop tailored treatment plans.
  2. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress.
  3. Design and implement therapeutic activities aimed at enhancing language comprehension and production across various modalities.
  4. Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on patient status and progress.
  5. Document all treatment activities and patient progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Engage with families and caregivers to support patient development and discharge planning.
  7. Educate patients and their families on strategies to achieve established goals.
  8. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and in-service training as required.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology and meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of 350 hours of supervised clinical practicum or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 9 months of supervised full-time practice in speech-language pathology.
  • Successful completion of a national examination in speech-language pathology.
  • Current licensure as a speech-language pathologist in the applicable state.

Additional requirements include a valid driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance, current CPR certification, and compliance with vaccination policies.
