Job Title: Qualified Mental Health Professional

At Lifeways Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families in need.

Job Summary:

The Qualified Mental Health Professional will be responsible for assessing client needs, providing individualized case management, and making appropriate referrals. You will also provide individual and group counseling, education, and support to clients and families, as well as act as a liaison with community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and function level under general supervision.
  • Provide individualized case management to clients, including making referrals and providing counseling and education.
  • Act as a liaison with community agencies, providing consultation, education, and information.
  • Make diagnoses and develop diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans for clients.
  • Deliver appropriate services as defined in the treatment plan.
Requirements:
  • M.A. degree plus two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling or equivalent experience.
  • Must hold appropriate CADC licensure or receive the credential/license within 36 months of application.
  • Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, behavioral, and addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and other related areas.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
