Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Director of Infection Prevention will oversee the development, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of infection control initiatives and compliance standards. This role includes managing the infection prevention and control department, providing education to team members, and consulting with various health organizations.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Public Health or relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in a relevant field with increasing responsibilities, including experience in Nursing with a focus on Epidemiology/Infectious Diseases and departmental management.
Licensure/Certification:
Registered Nurse with Certification in Infection Control required; active licensure in Georgia is expected within 6 months of hire.
