Dedicated Special Education Teachers Sought for Elementary Roles

We are seeking highly qualified special education teachers to join our team at Soliant. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and making a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $38 to over $40 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
Job DescriptionAs a special education teacher with Soliant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. You will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth, providing differentiated instruction and adapting teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
You will assess and monitor student progress, documenting achievements and identifying areas for improvement. You will also collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure effective communication and coordination of services. We utilize a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement, including assistive technology and adaptive equipment as needed.
Your role will involve monitoring and addressing students' social/emotional development, behavior management, and self-regulation skills. You will provide ongoing feedback and support to students, celebrating their achievements and fostering a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and SkillsTo be successful in this role, you must have a valid teaching certification or credential in Special Education. You should have experience working with young children with special needs and knowledge of developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood special education.
You should be familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and able to develop and implement them effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with colleagues, parents, and support staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children with diverse learning needs are also required.
