About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Forvis. As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Tax Advisory Services: Manage tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Help to develop, build, and manage client relationships, ensuring ultra-responsive customer service.
  • Represent Forvis: Represent Forvis in the professional and business community, promoting our services and expertise.
  • Proposal Development: Participate in the proposal process for prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities and expertise.
  • Technical Guidance: Contribute to Forvis-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development.
  • Team Management: Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff, ensuring their growth and success.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical tax consulting and research.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • License: CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree.
