Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team as a Regional Float. This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a $6/hour premium on top of the base pay rate.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, utilizing proper patient position, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to perform examinations.
- Assist physicians with procedures and report equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records and notations.
This position requires floating between hospitals within a regional location to fill scheduling gaps due to time off, FMLA, staffing shortages, or other coverage needs. The primary schedule consists of assignments that require working days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, or any combination.
Requirements- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
