Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software systems
  • Provide technical assistance and training to system users
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces
  • Install, configure, and test workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • A minimum of six years of direct experience and/or training in computer hardware and software installation and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Level I Systems Technician
Work Environment

This position requires occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
