Dynamic Survey: A Division of Dynamic Engineering Consultants

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Party Chief to join our team at Dynamic Survey, a division of Dynamic Engineering Consultants. As a Party Chief, you will be responsible for conducting and analyzing land, utility, boundary surveys, well location, and construction stakeout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and analyze land, utility, boundary surveys, well location, and construction stakeout.
  • Process construction stakeout field preparations.
  • Complete all field operations for a variety of surveying projects, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, transportation surveys, and construction layout.
  • Project datum conversion/transformation.
  • Maintain, clean, and service survey equipment and vehicles as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in land development surveying.
  • 3+ years' field experience as a Party Chief.
  • Flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
  • Familiarity with CIVIL3D and Land Development Desktop, a plus.
  • Experience with Leica survey systems is a plus.
  • Proficient with robotic total stations and data collection methods, GPS survey techniques, conventional leveling, and field notes.
  • Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Ability to work independently as a one-person crew if necessary.
  • Willing to train new employees.
  • The ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training and OSHA 40 safety training.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent and critical thinking abilities.
