Job Summary and Qualifications
The Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for operating standard and specialized X-ray equipment to conduct routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations that assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

As part of our dedicated team, you will prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to established protocols. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing X-ray examinations and processing images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
  • Administering contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensuring the accurate transfer of images to the PACS system.
  • Maintaining a clean and sterile environment between patients.
  • Following radiation safety protocols diligently.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and hold ARRT registration. Continuing education credits are required bi-annually, and BCLS certification is necessary within a specified timeframe.
