Position Overview:
The PRN Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services within our clinic. This position will provide coverage as needed, adapting to the clinic's operational hours, which include:
- Monday & Thursday: 7am - 5pm
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 7am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7am - 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and wellness coaches, to promote optimal health outcomes for our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implementing evidence-based practices in line with APTA standards.
- Facilitating direct access to physical therapy services, ensuring patients receive timely care.
- Engaging in effective communication with patients and team members to enhance care continuity.
- Participating in professional development activities, including peer reviews and presentations.
- Designing and leading health promotion programs and workshops tailored to employee needs.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- All necessary state licenses and certifications to practice.
- A degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification, including hands-on evaluation.
- A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic care.
