Key Responsibilities:
Management and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise the food service team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to food program staff.
- Establish and maintain training procedures and quality assurance measures across food service locations.
- Design administrative support systems for efficient food program operations.
- Oversee daily food preparation and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to USDA guidelines regarding meal components and serving sizes.
- Respond to the evolving nutritional needs of children by adjusting procurement and food preparation as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with health department regulations across all food service sites.
Menu Development and Procurement:
- Create diverse and nutritious menus.
- Assess food products for allergens and collaborate on menu revisions.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective supply acquisition.
Food Allergy Management:
- Facilitate communication regarding food allergies among staff, families, and educators.

Qualifications:
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
