Medical-Surgical Nurse Specialist

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Nebraska.
About the Role:
This position requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Patient Care: Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient progress
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing situations to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in Nebraska
- Experience: At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience
- Skillset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, strong assessment and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, our travel nurse program provides $5,000 bonus, comprehensive health insurance, and free continuing education opportunities.
