Position Overview:
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will deliver age-appropriate pharmaceutical care and fundamental clinical services tailored to designated patient care areas. Your contributions will be vital in achieving departmental goals, quality assurance, performance improvement, and various initiatives within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee medication orders with a focus on age-specific considerations to guarantee medication safety, including processing, preparation, and dispensing.
2. Engage in pharmacotherapeutic planning processes.
3. Effectively manage your pharmacy practice.
4. Supervise and guide healthcare team members.
5. Prepare and process sterile products for dispensing.
6. Contribute to departmental goals, programs, and performance reports.
7. Provide comprehensive drug information and education.
8. Actively participate in interdepartmental and intradepartmental committees.
9. Enhance safety and efficiency through the optimal use of automation.
10. Achieve assigned performance goals.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).

Experience:
- Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Licensure:
- Minimum: Licensed Pharmacist in the appropriate state.

Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in computer order entry, Microsoft Office applications, and clinical experience. Strong cognitive skills to interpret and understand written medication orders and reference materials.

Minimum Skills:
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Preferred Training:
- BLS and/or ACLS certification, along with advanced post-graduate training or equivalent clinical experience.
