About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Truck Technician to join our team at Papé. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs and deadlines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with diagnostic tools
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness, with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to provide own tools
