Cloud Channel Partner Sales Professional

Job Summary
Cognizant North America is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Channel Partner Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and shaping the future of our business with Google Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with Cognizant's customers and partner with account teams and other internal business groups.
- Cultivate executive relationships, drive adoption through effective partnership, and market penetration at existing customers and nurture new relationships.
- Own the industry portfolio's business development, TCV, and revenue quota targets for the practice.
- Lead industry advisory and sales with Google Cloud, own lead generation and deal shaping, and engage with Cognizant Market teams, Google Cloud Field sales, and both partner organizations.
- Drive partner-sourced opportunities and execute against proactive GTM sales plays with Google Cloud.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience.
- Vertical/industry domain experience in Retail and CPG.
- 3+ years of experience in selling cloud and/or technology transformation services.
- Ability to identify target accounts, work the channels, and gain the opportunity to identify where we can contribute, all the way through to closing the deal.
- Experience successfully closing deals in the $1M to $20M range.
- Proven track record of opening and winning business at new client accounts and in winning new business from existing accounts.
- Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills, good listener, ability to provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table, and be an advocate of Cognizant's vision and value proposition.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels, including at the CxO level.
- Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.
- Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals and building strong pipelines.
- Passionate about contemporary technologies and approaches that are helping companies transform, including Hybrid, Private, Public Cloud adoption, DevOps adoption, modern application design using microservices, containers, datacenter automation tools, IT service management, and delivery in the world of cloud.
- Experience with onsite/offshore models and working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Results-oriented working as part of a high-performance team.
- Prior experience partnering with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience driving $5M+ Cloud business and large Cloud deals - $10M+.
- Cloud certifications (GCP, Azure, AWS) are a huge plus.
- Strong knowledge of the IT managed services space and competitive landscape.
- Experience selling, building, managing, and measuring a virtual/geographically dispersed sales organization.
- Prior experience in selling GCP, AWS, Azure, or IaaS products and services to F1000 clients for a consulting organization.
- Master's degree.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $134,000.00 and $245,000.00, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
