Position Overview:
ROLE SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor employee attendance policies.
- Facilitate the new hire process by reviewing applications and preparing documentation for management.
- Distribute onboarding materials and coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
- Input new hires into the HRIS system, ensuring compliance with I-9 documentation and E-verify processes.
- Address daily inquiries from employees regarding various HR-related matters, including benefits and attendance.
- Compile weekly attendance reports for corporate review.
- Coordinate vacation schedules in accordance with union agreements.
- Prepare quarterly reports related to gainshare calculations as per corporate guidelines.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events and celebrations.
- Manage employee performance evaluation documentation.
- Organize and maintain records for terminated employees.
- Assist in planning company-sponsored events such as family gatherings and seasonal celebrations.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing.
- Perform clerical duties, including mail distribution, phone call routing, and spreadsheet development for tracking purposes.
- Support open enrollment and benefits documentation processes.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience: Prior experience in an administrative role or relevant educational background is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in data entry and familiar with office equipment.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to operate standard office machinery and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to multitask effectively and communicate fluently in English.
- Availability to work second shift.
- Travel: No travel required.
