We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer Intern to join our team at Mastercard. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets into Mastercard's analytics platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine data requirements and business logic applicable to each data set.
- Work on big data problems across various industries, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes.
- Participate in Mastercard's summer internship program, which includes networking events, mentorship opportunities, and formal performance assessments.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date of Winter 2025 – Spring 2026.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, and/or relational databases.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, with a willingness to learn and adapt to Python-based projects.
