Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate I to join our team at The Ground Up. As a Sales Associate I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email marketing, and other sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline and account interactions
  • Assist with marketing efforts to increase commercialization of TGU packaged products
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
Requirements
  • 1 year of current sales experience and proven success
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid state-issued driver's license
  • Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales experience in a garden center, nursery, landscape, or farming context
  • Knowledge of nursery products such as plants, trees, compost, mulches, stone, pavers, etc.
  • Experience or education in the horticulture, agriculture, or related field
