POSITION SUMMARY: This role is a CPA-level position responsible for orchestrating financial operations for a portfolio of captive insurance clients. The position entails the meticulous review and presentation of financial statements, alongside overseeing the contributions of various financial service providers. Additionally, the role requires public speaking in front of large audiences.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is essential, along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. A CPA designation is mandatory.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence and ability to deliver presentations to C-suite executives during Board meetings or similar settings
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification, capable of reviewing intricate financial statements related to captives
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage workload independently
  • Proficient in producing precise and timely work to meet deadlines
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring staff
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to contribute to a team environment
  • Innovative mindset with a drive to suggest and implement process improvements
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Preferred experience in taxation and insurance/group captives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the activities of various financial service providers to ensure the completion of all financial statements and related reports.
  • Guarantee the accurate and timely review of complex financial statements and other reports prepared by the Captive Insurance Manager.
  • Lead supplemental activities to support Captive Executives, including analyzing historical performance and developing presentations for financial analysis.
  • Engage in written and verbal communications with stakeholders and service providers.
  • Act as a liaison with the Insurance Manager and external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
  • Collaborate with tax providers to ensure timely submission of tax forms.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial status and security collateral reports prepared by the Insurance Manager.
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting financial statements, investments, and other finance-related topics.
  • Work closely with financial analysts, assisting in their training and development.
  • Understand and liaise with Insurance Managers regarding regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general assistance with other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position necessitates travel, both domestically and internationally, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and transportation carrier requirements.
