Job Summary

This position is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to students in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food according to menus and portion sizes.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
  • Brew coffee, fill beverage machines, and set up food areas.
  • Deliver food to staff, students, and catering events.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Check and store incoming supplies.
  • Follow break schedules and participate in ware washing.
  • Store silverware, dishes, and other equipment.
  • Participate in safety committee and attend in-service programs.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak and read English.
  • 1 year of professional food service experience preferred.
Work Environment

The work is performed primarily in the kitchen and on the serving line. Standing most of the work day is required. Exposure to extreme temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels.
