Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with children with autism as a Behavior Technician. In this role, you will implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will work one-on-one with children, reducing interfering behaviors and empowering them to reach their full potential. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

As a Behavior Technician, you will need to be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment. We offer comprehensive training to ensure you have the necessary skills to succeed in this role.

The salary for this position starts at $18 per hour and increases based on experience, certification level, and highest level of education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Reduce interfering behaviors
  • Work one-on-one with children

Requirements

  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Bilingual in Spanish
