SimVentions, recognized as one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is seeking a knowledgeable System Integration Specialist to enhance our team. The System Integration Specialist will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of project software baselines deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) Working Groups as necessary.
  • Coordinate the development and configuration management for navigation systems baselines for various naval vessels.
  • Monitor the deployment of said baselines.
  • Track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) deliveries to shipyards, including installations and deployment of navigation elements.
  • Assess and report on the certification status of baselines.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve engineering challenges as they arise.
  • Engage in weekly System Integration Agent Working Group meetings, monthly Systems Engineering Integration Team meetings, and biweekly status meetings.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5 years of operational experience within the Navy.
  • 5+ years of experience in Navy Ship Integration.
  • Familiarity with US Navy combat and navigation systems.
  • Understanding of the SHIPMAIN modernization process.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with InformeDB.
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is necessary for this role. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
