Responsibilities:- Obtain and perform history and physical examinations
- Record and interpret pertinent data, including labs, diagnostic studies, and progress notes
- Evaluate, treat, and diagnose patients under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Write daily progress notes and discharge summaries
- Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds and coordinate patient care with physician staff, nursing staff, and other ancillary care providers
- Master of Nursing Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- One year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in cardiac medicine
- Current CA RN License, Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License, National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and Current DEA License
