Work Schedule: Full-time role with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, on a rotating schedule, available 7 days a week.
Role Overview: The Production Technician 2 is responsible for the operation and management of manufacturing machinery and equipment in compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations. This role involves monitoring product quality, conducting physical inspections of equipment, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, performing general labor tasks, and assisting with packaging and warehousing as necessary. The Production Technician 2 will adapt to various schedules and shifts as dictated by operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor, warehousing, and packaging duties.
- Input and execute data using computer systems.
- Operate and manage heavy manufacturing machinery.
- Ensure product quality through regular inspections and monitoring.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer systems for equipment operation and training is advantageous.
- A strong emphasis on safety and quality standards is preferred.
