Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Kitchen Manager to oversee all operational aspects, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
  • Providing knowledgeable product recommendations to guests and accommodating special requests.
  • Managing inventory and ordering processes for all necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensuring proper receiving and stocking of goods while adhering to rotation standards.
  • Implementing strategies to minimize product shrinkage and damage.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, selection, and training of new team members.
  • Contributing to the sales growth and profitability of the department.
  • Coordinating with the Kitchen Manager to develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring a top-notch guest experience.
  • Supporting the Kitchen Manager in monitoring sales performance and profitability.
  • Creating food production schedules that comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Conducting regular inventory assessments.
  • Ensuring that product merchandising aligns with established guidelines.
  • Maintaining equipment in optimal condition and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and food safety regulations.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a front-of-house management role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
  • A genuine passion for preparing delicious and healthy food.
  • High standards for food quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, or Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • Experience in retail, culinary, or grocery settings.
  • Familiarity with production planning software.
  • Ability to operate various kitchen tools and equipment safely.
