Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Kitchen Manager to oversee all operational aspects, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Providing knowledgeable product recommendations to guests and accommodating special requests.
- Managing inventory and ordering processes for all necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Ensuring proper receiving and stocking of goods while adhering to rotation standards.
- Implementing strategies to minimize product shrinkage and damage.
- Assisting in the recruitment, selection, and training of new team members.
- Contributing to the sales growth and profitability of the department.
- Coordinating with the Kitchen Manager to develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring a top-notch guest experience.
- Supporting the Kitchen Manager in monitoring sales performance and profitability.
- Creating food production schedules that comply with safety and quality standards.
- Conducting regular inventory assessments.
- Ensuring that product merchandising aligns with established guidelines.
- Maintaining equipment in optimal condition and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and food safety regulations.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications include:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a front-of-house management role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
- A genuine passion for preparing delicious and healthy food.
- High standards for food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
- A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, or Hospitality Management is preferred.
- Experience in retail, culinary, or grocery settings.
- Familiarity with production planning software.
- Ability to operate various kitchen tools and equipment safely.
